Hi
 Three lenses? Sounds like a Kellner to me. Plossls have
two achromat pairs ( 4 lenses ). Modified Plossls might have a Barlow at
the front. Look at:

 There is a picture of a standard Kellner there and a Plossl.
This should help get things back together. Does your eyepiece look like any of these?
