Bet you a dollar to a donut the modem Rick is referring to is a V.34 Accura
and the 56K refers to the port speed. :-)
I _know_ people are using Hayes 56KFlex because it has been reported that the
performance comparisons with USR's X2 indicate they are about equivalent.
The K56 Flex servers have been slow to arrive, though - my ISP will be
installing this week.
