On or about 12-16-05 06:59, George Pope did engage James Bradley

GP> On (16 Dec 05) James Bradley wrote to George Pope...

 JB> JB> Are you a Communist, George?
JB> GP> No, I'm Canadian, and contrary to popular GOP belief, that's much
 JB> GP> different!
 JB>
JB> Of course, we are just viewed as a not-so hostile take over target.
 JB> It's not a cold war, it's downright frigid!

GP> Well, give me Canada's CinC job for a while and we'll soon turn the
GP> tables on all this mess! *LOL*

Without really knowing you, I'd wager the mess would just be different. The
smell would change to be sure, but the all-mighty US lobby machine would still

tails between our legs.

we would still be taking it without lubrication! Like the saying goes, "The
bigger the wheel, the slower it turns." In this case, we are given just enough

planned that way?

GP> Yeah, we're already the biggest country in the world, but I have a
GP> hankering for some new, WARMER, real estate! heh heh

And every few years, someone leaks the idea that we should include a tropical
island in our constitution, and they thoroughly L/their collective AO. If our
fearless leader asks a second time, the reply comes,
"What's in it for
us?" When Paul will not promise to flag his ships there, and the thumb is
removed, the net result is a well tanned middle finger in our direction.

What's next? Ask Castro to include us in his will?

GP> (and they'd never expect an attack from US!!!) *LOL*

With what; the four submarines from Edmonton, and whichever English Diesel
isn't killing its own crew this week? Aint gonna happen, until we can bribe a
country with back-bacon, and Tim Horton's.

Hold on a minute... Isn't Tim's owned by an American these days?

To think even Boeing moved South. They knew which way the wind blows, and it's
straight up our ...
