> Why the Flyer? Do you have faith in this product?
I have seen it at work and yes, I do have faith in the product. Newtek has
mentioned that an amiga is not even necessary for future flyers to work.
Currently though you do need to be running an amiga with a toaster.

There will be a lot of 3rd party support for the flyer, infact programs and
hardware are already popping up and the highly popular amilink has already
integrated it's new version to work with the flyer.

No, I do not want to work on a PC. I have become acustomed to my Amiga and
it's beautiful OS, and would not think of switching to a PC, except for
that fact of maybe using it as a slave unit to render some of my Amiga
lightwave animations out faster.
I mean come on, just a minute earlier I was D-loading a series of files to
my HD from a BBS, rendering a VERY CPU intensive animation, Had AmiQuick
running & replying to message posts, had final writer in the background (I
stopped working on that to answer posts), and had a whole slew of smaller
programs running too (Time program, PowerSnap, Addtools, VirusZ, and
RexxMast... all at the same time... On a stock 25 Mhz system, without any
type of hitch. Until the PC can do these things and my system doesn't
become obsolete year to year due to upgrades, I will then switch over... if
the amiga platform is dead or too expensive.

Well all of the purchases are assuming I go with the flyer very soon here.
The nice thing about the flyer is that technically, I would not even need
my VTR's. I could take the footage directly from the camera and pump it
into the flyer, edit it, and then when done pump it right back out to the
camera. Because I would not want to do this all the time and I do have
legitimate reasons for owning a VTR, I would consider buying a higher end
deck later (after a flyer and camera).
Take care. -Manny
