1 md Egg
1 tb Vegetable oil
1 1/2 tb Brown sugar
3/4 ts Salt
2 3/4 c Bread flour
1 1/2 ts Active dry yeast
1/3 c Multicolored candy
Sprinkles*

7/8 c Water
1 md Egg
1 tb Vegetable oil
2 tb Brown sugar
1 ts Salt
3 1/3 c Bread flour
2 ts Active dry yeast
1/2 c Multicolored candy
Sprinkles*
*Work into dough.
A basic egg bagel recipe represtents the tradition of an Easter egg.
But hand-knead colorful candy sprinkles or other sugar nonpareils
into the dough and they will lleave trails of color in the finished
bread. Add some for topping, too.
Bake at 350F. for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
