This rather sounds like the Tandy Model 200 that was sold under the
Radio Shack label for a while. It has a very basic wordprocessor built
into ROM, and also has an address book, rudimentary time-scheduler, and
term program built-in in the ROM. It operates on 8 AA batteries, or has
an AC adapter. The biggest drawback to it was that it was limited to
32K of RAM. I have a model 100 I'd sell you if you're still interested!
I used to use it for text files when I was on the road
traveling, and used a null-modem cablen to transfer to the desktop. I
don't have one, but there was also a battery-operated 3.5" disk drive
for the Model 100/200.
Cheers,
Phil
