Sorry about that, I have a little trouble with this message editor! Anyway, I am not competent enought to begin using such things as FOSSIL drivers. My modem is a Netcomm Roadster 288 and up until now has performed excellently when sending or receiving data. I have copied the initialisation strings which Cooee, my terminal software, uses and modified the necessary bits and pieces. The modem accepts these strings as it replies "OK" after each string is sent. SO, it can't be that ( I have set my speed to 14400 to comply with the 19200 baud limitation set by both Windows and DOS)! One less problem. I haven't tried sending any carriage return strings down the line, but I'll try it later today. If it doesn't work, I don't know what I'll do. There's always time to change my project specifications but making a modem-based project would be great if I could. Thanks for all your help and if you can think of anything else, please get back to me :) --- Maximus 2.02* Origin: AXL's, Wagga Wagga (3:621/525) SEEN-BY: 50/99 78/0 620/243 621/0 224 302 525 527 623/630 624/300 632/329 SEEN-BY: 635/503 544 711/401 409 410 413 430 510 808 809 899 932 934 712/515 SEEN-BY: 713/888 714/906 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 621/525 50/99 711/808 809 934 |
