Just to be sure, I quoted the relevent parts -- "slash" fiction was 
originally known as K/S -- Meaning Kirk/Spock.  It's *usually* two members of 
the same sex having a relationship within the Trek universe (Kirk/Spock, 
Picard/Riker, Everybody/Wesley, Dax/Kira -- yet get my point).
Funny thing is, most of the slash fiction I've seen out there is about two 
men, and is written by women writers!
