subject: GOING BACK AND FORTH!

Well here I am, again out in Sterling Hgts. ... I am gonna be here for a
couple of days again. Have a bit of business to get done over the next day
or two... so of course I need to stay in touch... Thank the Lord for my lap
top computer!!!! I would be lost with out it... Now that is the good
news..
The bad news is that I was in such a hurry this morning when we left that
I
did not bring a single crafty thing with me to do while I am here! So I
am
limited to my puter and the tv for deversion over the next couple of days
and
that my friends is just awful!!
With my household now in "reverse" of how it was a month ago I now have
to
bring things back here when we come this direction. Hard to believe it is
this way!!! With any luck my ties to this house will be severed soon
enough.

I was going through my UFO box last night and trying to figure out what
direction I wanted to start as I dig back into the many quilting projects I
have going right now. I was only able to complete one "must" project...
that was to get Shauna's blocks completed and to get together a few other
patterns that I want to do up. Then it was time to get to bed... I had
hoped
to get to be early, but early was after midnight and up this morning was at
7:00am to get ready for my dentist appointment...Then on the road again
back
out here!
It seems so strange to be here again. The house has enough furnishings to
make it a workable arrangement for this transition period. And there are
to be any number of trips yet to go... but it sure is strange as I am
getting
settled into my new living arrangements.
I actually started to have a panic attack while working at the new house
the other night... I was up to my neck in boxes and my fabrics were
everywhere.
Rubber Stamps and supplies surrounded me as did so many other crafting
supplies
and other "things" I felt like i was going to suffocate from all the boxes!
I couldn't push things away fast enough! Jerry to the rescue! He got me
out of my studio and straightened things up a bit for me ! I can
hardly
wait to get my cabinets in so I can put all these things away!
I know you all are probably getting tired of hearing about this move
.
but this has been so tramatic for me that I know I never want to do this
again!
I never realized until now just how organized my crafting supplies were
until I cannot get to what I want when I want them! Knowing what box
something
is in is not a help because I have to dig out the given box! It was sooooo
nice to be able to just go to a peg board or to my stash cupboard and get
what I wanted when I wanted it... Oh I know this will happen again... but
it won't be soon enough!

I am sooooo looking forward to those of you who will make me a "house"
block
for the QBE! I do hope that a lot of you will take this challenge... the
idea
of having a "special piece" of each of you in my new home will mean a lot
to
me... And believe me the quilts that I have made from past QBE, MQBE, and t
the CMQBE grace my studio right now as a happy reminder of the many good
friends I have made here!
Julia
