The VID_GAME echo is dedicated to discussion of home console-based
videogame systems.  Please try to stay at least within the general
area of this topic.  Arcade, PC, door, online, card, and other games
can best be discussed in the other echoes dedicated to them.
|  Discussion of these subjects can only take place in the VID_GAME
|  echo when they clearly and directly (in the eyes of the moderator)
|  tie in with console-based videogaming.

The current VID_GAME Echo Rules are as follows:
0)  By posting to this echo, you agree to abide by its rules and the
    requests of its moderator.  Failure to do so may result in losing
    your ability to post in this echo.
1)  No cursing or offensive language.  Imagine that your children (or
    parents) are reading your messages, if that helps.
2)  Be polite.  No flames or personal attacks.  Treat all users with
    respect at all times.  This means that even is someone insults you
    or your favorite system, you are NOT to respond in kind.  Debate
    what is being said, not the person who has said it.  No trolling.
3)  Be considerate.  Quote so that people know what you're replying
    to, but don't quote entire messages just to add a small reply.
    Avoid special or high-ASCII characters that may not display
    correctly on all systems, and minimize huge signature blocks that
    just take up space.  No spamming.
4)  No moderating, unless you are a Moderator.  (Do NOT scold, warn,
    chide, admonish, or issue gentle reminders to others, even if they
    seem to have broken the Rules.)  Use private NetMail or E-mail.
5)  If you have any comments or questions concerning the VID_GAME echo
    or its rules, feel free to contact me via private netmail or one
    of the other methods listed below.  You may also post a message
    addressed to me in the Fidonet MODR8TR echo.  Comments of this
    nature posted in the echo will be considered off-topic.
