RD> I have tried deleting them, didn't happen, tried writing over them,
RD>didn't happen. The only way I was able to get any change was to delete
RD>the entry line from the dialer screen and reinstall the bbs numbers and
RD>other data. But even then it seems to come up with odd numbers I have
RD>not a clue from whence it or they came .
Russ:
It helps to READ the manual. I just checked my manual (10/1/92
Printing) on page 63, under System, and it says that this down arrow
contains a listing of the Manual Dial history List. It's purpose is the
to be able to add a previous "manually dialed" phone number to your
phone book. This would suggest that at some time you must have tried to
manually dial a phone number of "r" which got stored in the History
List. This is further explained on page 67, under MANUAL Dialed phone
numbers. As I said in my previous message, Don't use the Down Arrow and
it won't cause any problems. Only the number you enter in the Primary
Number field will be stored in your phone book entry. Please reply if
you have further questions.
