Are you sure it's the speaker?
If you can access the front of the speaker, push *GENTLY* with both
hands at opposite sides of the speaker and listen for a grating
noise. If so, the voice coil could be burnt.

this speaker for Fender & replace it with the same speaker from the OEM.

There are tons of 12" speakers to choose from.
Each have a different sound in different cabinets.
One way to narrow your search is to find out the specs on the original
speaker (Q, fts, etc...) and see what's close for your cabinet.
