I'm pretty sure that it needs Buffer$ = SPACE$(BufSize). That determines how
big of a chunk of the file it reads at a time. Actually when I look at what
I ended up with there is very little simularity to what I took out of the
book. The book was showing how to copy a file in this fashion. That is why I
wasn't too sure if I was over reading with the last Buffer$ read, but what
happens I think is that when the function I made hits the eof it stops
reading and the rest of the buffer$ is space which doesn't interfere with
tallying carriage returns. But this would be a problem copying files because
the extra spaces would get tacked onto the file.
