Great article!

I'm a big fan of VMware and the virtual environment, which has completely
changed the entire technology sector in how services are run.

This is what also allowed me to take my original BBS running which had been
running on a super old Pentium-133 clone PC and move it to modern day hardware
- and never have to worry about hardware compatability again (even for OS/2)!

My BBS runs on an ESXi cluster, where the physical server is an HP DL360 G6
with 76GB of ram and dual 6-core Xeon X5650 processors. The BBS virtual
machine is the least resource intensive system on my cluster - by far.
