| subject: | Browsers bases on IE engine |
"Mike Powell -> All" wrote ... MP> I have heard some things lately about a browser called Maxthon MP> (www.maxthon.com). I notice that the browser is based on "the IE MP> engine." I used Maxthon for a long time. I decided to use ir when I learned that it featured sorted history and search for Favourites, and the ability to conveniently turn Activex on and off. It's really not an independent browser; it's more accurately called an IE overlay. If you're not sold on Firefox (which I now use almost exclusively), then Maxthon is a nice compromise to the plain IE. --- JamNNTPd/Linux v1.0 - w/Mods by Hub2000* Origin: Hub2000 FTN News Server (1:229/2000) SEEN-BY: 633/267 5030/786 @PATH: 229/2000 123/500 379/1 633/267 |
