subject: INDIANA PERMIT DELAYS

If your Indiana pistol permit is getting close to its expiration date,
you should consider reapplying sooner than in the past. I called after
four weeks and was told by the ISP that they were running 9 to 10 weeks.
I actually got mine in 7 weeks, but knowing what I do now, I'd apply at
least 60 days before it expires.
You can still carry on the old permit, if you apply before it expires,
however.
I have a concealed permit, but I suspect target and hunting are taking
as long.
