Hi Dan,
DT>There is a book and it's called Box it and Bag it. It is all math
>activities and there are illustrations and examples of how to make kits.
>It's a thick book just like the Math their way book. I'll write again
>and explain more. In the meantime, if you get ahold of the book let me
>know. Maybe we can share ideas.
I'll have to check this out at the education library or else call the
Math Centre. I think this was the book I was supposed to get at a Summer
Inservice a few years ago. I never received it or anything else they
were supposed to send me...I'm still trying to get my certificate. :(
If I manage to get a hold of it it will be fun to share ideas. I have a
big binder of them actually - copied from books like WorkJobs. just
tried to find the name of the authors and the books but.... I believe
one is called Creative Activities for Young Children and one of the
authors is somebody Kerr. She has two books and I am always finding new
ideas that I like in them and making a copy of the pages - pretty soon I
will find that I have copied the whole book!
When I find the correct title/author I will let you know. If I ever get
to read the Box It Bag It one the same applies. It would be fun to share
ideas.
Bye for now, -Ruth
