I tried X00 a few years ago and liked BNU better, basically because I 
couldn't get X00 to work with the system I had then :)
The author of the software that I needed to work contacted me a few days 
ago and suggested I switch from DSZ.COM to GSZ.EXE and so I gave it a 
try and by gawd it worked!
I have no idea why and haven't contacted Oman Technologies yet to ask 
them but for some reason when I swapped the 28.8 with a 33.6 the program 
started puking on me part way into a file transfer.
So it turns out it was the protocol driver and not the fossil driver, 
everything working great again and I can start trying to grow some hair 
back on my head :)
