From: "Bill Mattox"
I never said anything of the kind. Nor am I saying that the U.S. has never
made mistakes. What I AM saying, however, is that Cuba is a tyranny totally
under the thumb of a sadistic murderous dictator, and, by extension, the
government of Cuba -- CASTRO's Cuba -- is an evil in the world, even if not
nearly as dangerous as it once was.
Clinton's game of moral equivalence appears to have now become so
infectious in our social mindset that it is becoming increasingly difficult
to call an evil thing evil. Instead, what we have degenerated to is finding
even ONE remote claim -- no matter how minor -- of comparable behavior as a
rebuttal for a GENERAL tendency and thereby throw up our hands in
confusion, claiming that we can not possible make a moral distinction
between systems.
This trend is total baloney.
