Does anyone know about painting boats??? I'm restoring an 1967 starcraft and I'm going to paint the top half this summer and work on the hull this winter. I had a lengthy chat with an auto parts store and the guy there thought that an acrylic enamel would work ok. He also said something about using a base / clearcoat system but that I could do that with an acrylic enamel as well.
