Hi,
I don't know how complex or involved your redefining would get but you
can redefine the set with (setq ss2 ss1), you can type this at the
command prompt, but if you want incrementation then you'll have to
hope someone else knows the exact syntax right off the top of their head for
an "if ss2 nil then setq ss2 etc" type of thing. As far as using the
election
sets you can type in !ss1 or !ss2 when prompted to pick entities, the key is
the exclamation point to retrieve lisp sets (no parentheses), and the sets
only exist as long as you're in the dwg.
                                    Crude but effective (hopefully),
                                                          Joe
