You should know by now that I despise Bush and everything he is and stands for. Of course I opposed the Iraq war as well as a Afghan war. Both were and are continuing disasters and obvious blunders. That said, I cringe at any attitude that puts the sentiments of parents as paramount when talking about soldiers and casualties. I care about the soldiers, at least up to a point, and not a fig about the attitudes of their parents.
