subject: QmPro - A Strange Problem

CR>recently upgraded to a Pentium 120Mhz and copied the whole program over
CR>to this new system, (all directories and files) and QmPro starts to come
CR>up, displays it's startup logo, then the display goes BLACK. However if
Charles I am not much of a computer tech, none at all in fact.
However it seems like I did read something about Pentium using a
different video address range or it accessed it in a different way.
Could it be when the modem comes on it causes a conflict at that time
in either the address range or how it is accessed.
Have you tried changing screen emulations?
Did you see my other strange problem about when I log on the a local
BBS and go to leave a message while on line and when it opens up the
editor it has moved the from, to , and subj lines down to 7 8 &9 lines
with nothing at the top? I am the only one having this problem.
Figures.....
   Russ
