CR>Russ:
CR> I checked this out on my system and altho I have 5 numbers
CR>listed in the basic display, (1 primary and 4 secondary) when I hit the
CR>down arrow I see only the primary phone number. I have never used that
CR>down arrow but rather use the TAB key to go to the secondary numbers.
CR>Do you have letters in the secondary numbers or only in the down arrow
CR>display? In either case use your mouse or the tab key to move to the
Mine differs for each index entry. When I was installing it and
entering the phone numbers, etc, I mistakenly hit the r for revise and
it is now in the down arrow window.
I have tried deleting them, didn't happen, tried writing over them,
didn't happen. The only way I was able to get any change was to delete
the entry line from the dialer screen and reinstall the bbs numbers and
other data. But even then it seems to come up with odd numbers I have
not a clue from whence it or they came .
CR>line with the unwanted characters and use the DEL key to delete the
CR>unwanted characters. I have never understood what the purpose of the
CR>down arrow was... Never used it...
Well that makes two of us, I just thought it was maybe a listing of
all the numbers maybe from a source other than the primary number but
that don't hold water either. I started out just wanting to delete the
erroneous letter r I had enter in it and have managed to change some by
doing the delete thing from the index page and reinstalling but that is
the only way.
Now I am curious as to what the function of that window is, who
knows maybe someone will come along and tell us it is the secret place
from whence the lotteries get their winners .
   Thanks for the reply.
   Russ
