whups!  i should have kept my big mouth shut.  i'm using the US
codepage, and that's all i know about.  if other codepages do
conversions, then i'd think it's just a matter of picking the correct
codepage.  Dieter had some comments about the best way to switch your
codepage.  i think depending on how you switch the codepage, it may not
fully switch over.
