Neat idea, Jean.  We're having the same times here too this year. 
Ordinarily it isn't a good time of the year for road travel here: many,
many amateurs at the wheel creating 'havoc in the traffic'.  However,
today, we've decided to visit our favourite nephew (only because he is the
eldest), his wife and their new baby (hatched ~90 days ago), down at Hervey
Bay.  This is a round trip of some 65 kilometres, luckily on one of the
best roads-come-highway in the region.

I am always fascinated by these raid thingies.  I saw my first some 25
years ago, in the form of two mainframe computers in a morroring situation
during an inspection of the behind scenes in an Army communications centre.
