| subject: | Different byte from an Apple! |
IN the OS/2 Usegroup postings I notice that there is a post which comments
that with the Connectix product from Innotek, you can install and run OS/2
on an Apple!
The conventional install that ususally is made with Connectix to brink up
use as a Guest operating system hasn't, so sai, worked. But in this case
what the party did was to pre-install OS/2. Then they archived the
partition. Following that they unarchived it with Connectix for Apple and
we have a working OS/2 ...
Connectix runs any (or several!) versions of WIN on an OS/2 platform as a
Guest, as well as LINUX, I did not think that Apple is a Guest of OS/2.
Conversely you can install OS/2 on a WIN box or LINUX. (Ugh?) who would
wat to do that in favor of the stability of OS/2 and freedom for the
present of virus and mole programs...
But thought I'd post this. If anyone wants I'll try to find address
information for the article and so on..
--> Sleep well; OS/2's still awake! ;)
