No.  But he has to be in a grade.  That's a requirement.  So I've
decided since he was in eighth grade this past year, he can be in ninth
grade this coming year.  I might even let him graduate from high school
one day.
He had an eighth grade graduation ceremony with about five other kids.
It was impressive!
