Best Use of Observation Data

In the Spacecraft and Fairing Assembly Building, preparation is 
underway for mating the encapsulated payloads and H-IIA Launch Vehicle 
No.4 (H-IIA F4).  Operators are preparing a special transporter for 
taking the encapsulated payloads to the Vehicle Assembly Building, 
where mating operations will be carried out, and checking equipment 
that controls air conditions inside the payload fairing during 
transportation.

Observation data acquired by the Advanced Earth Observing Satellite-II
(ADEOS-II) are expected to be used by research institutes and 
researchers all over the world to understand and elucidate global 
warming and other environmental changing mechanisms.

Also, global-scale precipitation distribution, ocean surface 
temperature and sea wind observation data will become useful to 
improve the accuracy of the weather forecast. Furthermore, by 
combining ocean surface temperature and sea current information, it is 
expected to help finding rich fishing spots.
