Are you trying to teach her the names of her foods? I think it's so
cute when a bird can ask for things by name.
One of the AG babies that left yesterday (Tuesday) will go to a family
with a 13 year old who is bird crazy. I expect the bird (Camille) will
have quite a vocabulary. They have a Quaker whom the son, Chris, has
taught quite a few words and phrases.
The other baby that left the same day (Tequlia) is quite a big bird.
He is almost 500 grams.
One of the others (a male named Michael) will be going on an airplane
ride to Kansas in a week of so. The new owner hasn't received the
cups for her cage or her pellets. I have to go to Detroit to
ship him.

I had one other youngster who had a VERY dark red tail. This was the
one with the very dark maroon flights - do you remember her? You had
to look at the flights in the sunlight to see the color. Quite
attractive.

The flights look so dark until they get the powder groomed into them.
It's amazing how much lighter the birds become once the feathers get
a little powder on them.
