Need some input about graphic file formats...
Primary goal: To be able to print a report from paradox for windows
directly to a file in PCX (paintbrush) or DCX (fax format). Does anyone
have any ideas out there how this may be done without user intervention.
I do not want to have to manually open the report in, say Corel, and
export it into the proper format. Too much time involved (may be 10 or
more reports every day). This need to be 100% automated.
The way I would like to do it is use a printer driver that would be
'connected' to FILE in control panel. But what printer driver would
give me the proper format?
It may be possible to print to a file using a postscript printer in
whatever format is available. Then running a dos CONVERT program that
would convert each file into the proper format for faxing. Could be put
in a batch file & run without user intervention. My question is: IS
THERE A CONVERT PROGRAM THAT WOULD DO THIS?
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated...
