I saw a new Rick 12 electric a couple of weeks ago, it was strung like
my Yamaha acoustic, small gauge strings on top.  I had trouble playing
the Rick, as the neck was as thin as a 6 string and I couldn't get
good chords out of it.  My fingers tips would always tend to deaden
neighboring string sets.  They do have that great "ring" to them.  :-)
