AP{at}> Do you have access to the FidoNet Tosser for GT? It used a "Plain
AP{at}> Text" approach to message bases if I remember correctly.
I have it over on my BBS as "FidoGate" in FIDO1300.ZIP -- it's in
the FIDONet files area. The way GT was set up, you basically had to
"toss the FIDO stuff twice"...using FidoGate, as well as a regular
tosser, such as InterEcho, GEcho, etc. You are correct that it is
textual setup for the configuration files...and you need a separate
one for each network, so mail and origin lines are routed correctly.
The one thing with setting up the textual control files with GT,
it can be tedious...but, once created, it works just fine. I have
been working on amateur radio applications outside the BBS...not to
mention dealing with weather and health issues...so I haven't done
much BBS work lately.
AP{at}> It's been a while since you announced this... any word on progress?
I haven't heard anything for a bit, but I'm sure Tom has other
things to do as well. He knows I've offered to beta test it.
