I assume you already know about searching google for "Brachyura
evolution".  That gives you some valuable references. 

[moderator's note: But be sure to limit your search to Google
GROUPS, rather than web sites, as per the limitation stated in
the original article (checking the value of Usenet archives).

There is also the "Tree of Life" web site that lists references.  The
decapod crustacea are at

Then there is PubMed, the US National Library of Medicine at
   http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi
Again, try searching for "Brachyura evolution"

Of course, these are not technically Usenet archives.  However, one of
the best uses of Usenet is to get information about where else to go!
