 Just leave it in a mall parking lot for a few hours.      BTW, I
 used a magnetic mount antenna for a scanner when I went to work and
 it never gave us problems, even in pursuits of 80-90 MPH.   But the
 drive-thru's like Jack-in-the-Box didn't appreciate having the neon
 tubes busted.
