can anyone help with a problem i'm having with a M7F fax/modem.
we got the unit 2-3 years ago and since have only used it for faxing(send
only). but a few weeks ago i needed to do a demo on compuserve using this
unit, but the fastest i could make it go was 1200. it should run upto 14.4.
i spoke to netcom support on the east coast and they advised me to download
the moden.db file from their bbs to use with the WINCIM program, which i did
but no change. i don't understand how i can send faxes at 9600/14.4 but data
at only 1200. i also tried accessing multiline bbs at a high speed with 
different software but no joy.

any ideas ???????
