Help.
I constantly set up a footer in my MS Word 6.0 documents (memos, minutes etc)
that contains the location of the file, the date, and my name, under
a line, like this
________________________________________________________________
d:\data\word\memos\m_mar03      Monday, 03 March 1997  J Knowles
At present this takes a number of steps: view footer, insert
the file location, insert the date, type in my name, insert the line.
I have not used macros yet. Can a macro do all this? If so, how could
the macro be written? What would it look like?
