Same/similar base code, mostly. Does yours 'shoot around corners' (quote from
a 'Robin Hood' movie [not the one you're thinking of]) or will it make my
coffee? I am unexcited at the prospect of more code bloat when the one I have
does my Fidonet NNTP and basic email.

A lot of water under the bridge, for sure. Much happenings behind the scenes
here, with disasters & disappointments. I am unhappy with my main node's
plight with its tosser. I cannot find a decent replacement that's not attached
to a BBS trying to be the Swiss Army Knife answer to a question that nobody
really thought to ask.
Such is life. I need chocolate...
