No, Jack, your eyes aren't deceiving you, but you're also not aware of
Jay's and mine exchanges in Netmail.  (See up there at the top where I
said my netmail was broke.)

I had, early on, cast some aspersions in the heat of my anger that I see
now were unfair. (To quote Jay in netmail, "Tarring the whole echo with
a broad brush.")  In the interest of fairness I thought I should
straighten that out, in public.
Now I don't think for a minute that whoever DID the ramming had never
been in or read FLAME.  But I don't honestly believe the echo as a whole
was in any way responsible for our problems.  Does that make it clearer?
Beyond that, I'd be glad to discuss it with you in netmail.  Our FTP
feed is feeling MUCH better now.
