Which gave only the UN the "right" to do anything. It gave no
rights to the US at all. Of course the dummy Bush people argued before the
UN that it did and the UN told the idiots to get lost.

They did, in Iraq, from which they are now desperately looking for a way
out.  Were they to pull out most of the public would be pleased, but doing
so would mortally offend the flag-waving, brainless nincompoops on the
radical right, not to mention the equally mindless rednecks of the South,
both core constituents of the Republican party as remade by that
quintessentially mindless nincompoop, Ronald Reagan.
