EC> In the process of covering what Joseph Wilson said in a
EC> speech in Cleveland, the story reported: "It all started,
EC> Wilson said, in February 2002 when Vice President Dick
EC> Cheney asked him to find out the validity of claims that
EC> Saddam had tried to buy uranium from the African country
 EC> Niger."

It says that. And that is the part I told you, "He did not say
that." Not at the City Club, not at any place else you can show.

EC> That seems pretty clear. You don't want to believe it, so
EC> you accuse the reporter of reporting something that Wilson
EC> didn't say and falsely inserting the words "Wilson said"
 EC> into the sentence.

I don't want to believe it because he did not say it.

EC> You have posted NOTHING to prove that claim.

Actually, I did. More on that below. At the end of this msg.

EC> You say that you called the reporter personally,
EC> and yet you never come right out and say that you asked her
EC> about that line and you never come right out and say that
EC> she admitted that Wilson did NOT say that.

What part of "One quotation" don't you understand?

 EC> Even after this
EC> alleged phone call, you can only come up with lame
EC> "probably" statements (which should have said "possibly"
EC> since "probably" denotes a fairly high level of
EC> probability). I cold not have deleted anything RELEVANT you
EC> said, since you said nothing relevant!

You deleted all the points that prove you wrong. A sign of your
 desperation.

->> ->> ->> That is not in quotation marks. That was
probably from the nexus
->> ->> ->>  search.

->> EC> "Probably." That is not background information to
->> EC> establish context for what Wilson said in the speech. It
->> EC> is a reference to what Wilson said. You are accusing her of
->> EC> covering the speech by reporting things Wilson did not say
->> EC> and slipping "Wilson said" into the sentence.

->> You know, the republicans may not like you going on and on about
->>  this.

EC> That feeble diversion seems to be your attempt to end the
 EC> thread with a whimper.

End the thread with a whimper? After burying you? I think not.

Just reread this part that you have deleted. The answer it in
 here.
 **************************************************************************

You know, the republicans may not like you going on and on about
this. After all, they have pretty well dropped it. After Cheney
said he didn't know Wilson, and didn't know who sent him, in
Sept of 03, but Libby testified that he and Cheney talked about
Wilson much before that, and on June 12, 03, before even
Wilson's op-ed, Cheney and he had a meeting about Wilson and
Cheney told Libby that Valerie worked for the CIA.

After that got out the RNC seems to have gotten real quiet on
 that point.

And Wilson did *NOT* say that in the Cleveland speech. Garrett
got sloppy on that one. Just look at the video and see for
 yourself.
