Good point. I should have said "still have only one self that the
researchers can talk to." Of course, the alien hand phenomenon itself tells
you that there can be conflicts between the hemispheres. And if you
actually read the book, Carter describes further experiments in which
researchers did manage to "talk" to the non-dominant hemisphere.
