| subject: | problem with the `e` key |
Hi olearydq (of 1:130/1015), On , in a message to you wrote: o> Hehe, anyway, please let me know if your friend's problem is o> corrected by the course of action I outlined in the prior message. If not, I'll probably offer to take a personal look at the computer to get the information I really need. The fellow was basically supplied with a "computer to use" and apparently has no real training on how to use it. He's not familiar with all the computer jargon either. I've been visiting some MacUser forums with the same original question; so far no takers - most people probably think that I must be a total idiot behind a Mac keyboard if I have a "problem with the e key". (Update.. I got one reply in the "apple-l" Yahoo group). As for the echos.. I dunno. I think you could possibly attract people if you put some "plugs" or signature-links in some of the mac-user internet forums out there pointing to web-based Fido bbses that carry the APPLE echo. --- FMail/Win32 1.60* Origin: http://www3.sympatico.ca/abo/yourstruly !
