So you are saying the republicans are populists?  I've always believed that
republicans were more for the average guy than the elitist democrats, guess
I was right.

That list is populist platitudes in the same sense that liberty and freedom
are populist platitudes.  They aren't.  They are concepts that endure with
the human spirit throughout centuries.  Democrats don't understand that,
socialists don't even want it spoken, and republicans believe it in their
souls.
