Yeah, but at the time that *I* complained, there was no-one else
who had complained. In actual fact, there was a lot of people
giving me a bumsteer though, because the symptoms were similar to
a mechanical fault in the earlier Spirit's.

When I complained, they told me the Supra didn't exist. Then
I think it was Arthur Marsh reported an 800 cps speed transfer,
like you said, with a pre-release Maestro. I then attempted to
get someone to admit they had a Maestro online, and eventually
met Poe Lim (from memory). At first MBE told me that the Maestro
was not Austel-approved yet, so I went back again, and Maestro
gave me an Austel-approval number, so I went to MBE again, and
this time they said "Maestro just put out a brand new modem, with
problems, why don't you report it to them". I said I had reported
it to both. MBE weren't interested, but they did give me Digicom's
BBS number, but that's when I found out that MBE support was even
better than Digicom's! BFN. Paul.
