No, I was referring to the real FBI case "Mississippi Burning".  People
were being killed, and the authorities were covering it up at the county
level.

I've also read that the states of Alabama, Mississippi and Texas were
responsible for more lynchings than the rest of the South put together over
that period.  Black, of course.
