From: "Bill Prewitt" To: "Jan Bentz" , Reply-To: "Bill Prewitt" > Guy -- It sounds like what you have is a TV projectION lens. If it's actually a projection TV lens, it might be more useful as a fisheye for some of those full-Milky-Way shots.. I took apart a large rear-projection TV and found that the plano-concave element that contacts each of the 3 color CRTs had room to fit a camcorder lens inside, yielding a nearly-180 degree view (I can see my shoes when aiming straight ahead) Bill Prewitt Webpage of Telescope Making and Caving (My hobbies keep me in the dark) www.astrocaver.com --- BBBS/NT v4.00 MP* Origin: Email Gate (1:379/1.100) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/1 633/267 |
