| subject: | Re: Mystic Connection Issue? |
On 02 Jul 2019 at 04:49p, Jeff Smith pondered and said... JS> > If you can connect to his BinkD setup then it is more than likely the f JS> > he has you in his blacklist.txt file. Let me know if that fixes the is JS> JS> Can't say that I can do that. :-( As he decided to drop Mystic due to the JS> problems he was having. He tells me that he has switched over to BinkD, JS> Husky, and Golded. An arrangement that I have used in the past for JS> years. The problem I was having (Connecting) has been fixed. I offered JS> to help him work out his issues with Mystic but alas the decision is his. Jeff whitelist and blacklist may have been a factor but another gotcha can be a typo in the domain name for the echonode setting. So if his or your domain name was mis-spelt then it can also cause those kinds of issues. I'd also keep any password to no more than 8 chars and all uppercase.. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A43 2019/03/03 (Windows/32)* Origin: Agency BBS | Dunedin, New Zealand | agency.bbs.nz (3:770/100) SEEN-BY: 57/0 129/215 154/10 30 40 700 203/0 220/70 221/1 6 360 226/100 SEEN-BY: 227/201 400 229/310 426 230/0 250/3 267/800 280/464 5003 292/854 SEEN-BY: 320/219 340/800 393/68 633/0 267 280 281 410 412 509 640/1321 1384 SEEN-BY: 712/848 770/0 1 3 10 100 340 772/0 1 210 500 3634/12 @PATH: 770/100 1 154/10 221/6 1 640/1384 633/280 267 |
