Which really makes sense... while some are quite able to learn lots of
new things, others can manage a few "magic spells" and once they have
those, it's hard to learn a lot more...  I'm not exactly elderly, but
I'm not all that young, either... and for me, I didn't learn how to
telnet until I absolutely needed to learn it, in order to reach any bbs
that had my Fido echoes...  ;0  If I had had access to a local dial-up
connection, I would gladly have stayed with dial up.  Fortunately I have
a very good resident Wizard to set up new stuff for me and to teach me
enough of the magic to be able to use it... I have known quite a few for
whom the learning curve would have been too much, though.
