Exactly. Frank Nitzsche (Australian convenor for ITU-T Study Group 14, and
very helpful bloke at Telstra) has noticed this problem with some modems.
If your modem's manufacturers disown the problems, tell them to contact
Frank or contact him yourself on (02) 396 3053 fax (02) 264 2296.
